Learnings/challenges:
Feeling back on track this week with food logging and exercise (with a specific focus on hitting daily protein goal).
Still fighting a head cold so did take an additional rest day this week.
Treated myself to Cold Stone for dinner on Sunday evening after working a seminar which skewed my macros quite a bit but this was the only “off” meal for the week. My metrics are tracking in the right direction so I’m cool with it!
Goal for sweets and alcohol have been no more than 2 sweet treats per week and 3 drinks per week. I have been fairly consistent with this with the exception of 1 or 2 off weeks. Love to reflect on the fact that I am still hitting my goals while still being able to enjoy these two things.
Continuing to work with my therapist on identifying triggers that cause me to crave alcohol and sweets. It’s mainly around self worth. The plan is that when I’m in situations where I know that my self worth will be challenged, I will use boundaries, short walks, yoga, and deep breathing to reconnect with myself.
